“Otters”. The other day I was talking to a friend over breakfast when the subject came up. (don’t ask me how cause I can’t remember anyway) We both lately have been encountering the word in conversations where the otters obviously not were the cute little furry sea animal making funny noises wile tanning their bellies on the surface.
After consulting the big G on our mobile devices we got the explanation. An otter is a very hairy (preferably with hair on shoulders and back) thin or skinny man "hanging around bears," and most often "passive when it comes to sex".
Now I can never look an innocent otter the same way...

We also found out that there are more species of bears in the gay fauna than at the world’s largest Bear Park in my childhood's Orsa (very suiting name, right?)
So girls, guys and Grizzlies… here is the full terminology. Just beware when bear trapping in the near future. You might not get they prey you planned:
- Bear: a hairy man of any age with a stocky or heavy-set build and facial hair.
- Black Bear: a Bear of African-American descent or of darker toned skin.
- Brown Bear: a Bear of Hispanic descent.
- Chub: a heavy set gay man. May or may not be a bear.
- Cub: a younger version of a Bear, typically but not always with a smaller frame. The term is sometimes used to imply the passive partner in a relationship.
- Cubby: a guy who maybe a chubby cub.
- Daddy Bear: an older bear, sometimes looking for a daddy/son relationship with a younger man.
- Goldilocks: a female, often heterosexual in the company of bears - a bear's fag hag.
- Leather Bear: a bear with a leather fetish.
- Muscle Bear: a muscular version of a Bear. A muscle cub is a younger or smaller, yet muscular, version.
- Naired Bear: a stocky or heavy-set that shaves his body.
- Otter: a man who is hairytypically thinner, swimmer's build, lean or no muscle.
- Panda Bear: a bear of Asian descent.
- Pocket Bear: a short Bear.
- Pocket cub: a short Cub or a Cub who stays in the background of social events.
- Polar Bear: a silver- or white-haired Bear.
- Puppy: a younger guy who may not fit into the Bear, Cub, Wolf, or Otter types.
- Red bear: a red-haired bear. Also known as a Ginger Bear.
- Wolf: a term for a Muscle Bear who is a rugged outdoorsy or biker type.
- Woof: a greeting sometimes used when a Bear sees another Bear in public and wants to express physical attraction.
Once upon a time a Bear was out strolling with two pocket cubs, Goldilocks and bunch of chubby bears when a wolf, a Polar Bear and two otters passed by. The wolf woofed at one of cubs, but had nothing for it; the pocket cub was only into Pandas...
As said, it’s a fucking zoo out there…

What about Polar Bears - Bears of Caucasian descent?
I think according to the list it's an older bear with gray hair. But I agree. It should be what you wrote.
The older kind of bear could also be a "Silver Bear" ?
I take it it's a Caucasian bear who came up with the list originally...
There is actually a "Caucasian Brown Bear" and a "Trans-Caucasian Grey Bear".
In the real fauna, I mean.
