29 000 children have died of starvation in the last 90 days in the East African famine. Politicians are playing Russian roulette with the American economy, and new violent riots in London are taking place this very evening.
Yet the “push” for tonight’s news at NBC-California was that a coyote killed a dog in Altadena. I’m just surprised that there is nothing more newsworthy happening in the world than the fact that coyotes do hunt.
Now the sad owner now naturally wants the authorities to take action and get rid of the problem so "so that I could feel better about going and getting another dog at some point in the future."
Well, I hope not. I feel there are some other things American authorities need to attend to.
